Flavia Bing Fajardo

Flavia Bing Fajardo, 80 years old, formerly of Los Angeles, California and Manila, Philippines, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 in Ontario, California surrounded by her family. Born on May 7, 1937, she attended Arellano High School, Philippine College of Commerce and University of the Philippines. She retired from the Los Angeles City College in 2007.

Flavia was a loving, caring and generous daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her sisters, Rose and Andy; children, Kathleen (Vivek), Joseph (Rose), Paul (Rowena), and Karl (Melissa); grandchildren, Matthew, Hazel, Kevin, Robert, Chrissy, Rachel, Mark, and Niko; and great-grandson, Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Flaviano and Petra; and her siblings, Luis, Ben, Mely, Angeles, Eny, and Vicky.

Flavia was cremated on December 14, 2017 following a Sukyo Mahikari light giving. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Wee Kirk O' The Heather, Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

We will miss her smile and giving spirit. In the end, she chose this poem for us:

When I come to the end of the road
