Fifita Afu

Fifita “Fifi” Hala Afu, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and daughter, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on the island of Tonga to Ana and Sione Vuki on November 19, 1963, Fifi filled the lives of those around her with love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

A devoted Christian, Fifi found joy in praising the Lord, sharing stories, singing, dancing, sewing, and basket weaving. Her remarkable talent for sewing, honed over years of practice, resulted in beautiful dresses and outfits for her children and grandchildren. Fifi’s creations were truly works of art, admired by all who saw them. A selfless soul, she dedicated her life to spreading the word of God and caring for others. Her captivating storytelling skills guided many towards a deeper understanding of their faith.

Above all, Fifi cherished spending time with her husband, Kolopeeki, her children Hephzipah "Sipa", Vaikoloa, Ana, and Elizabeth, and her grandchildren Ericka, Yessica, King, Zoey, Mele, Michael, Analisa, Apo, Mateo, and Samo. She fought valiantly to remain with her loved ones, but God called his beloved angel home. Though her physical presence will be sorely missed, her love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. 

 Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA. A visitation will be held on September 27th from 9am to 8pm, followed by the funeral service and burial on September 28th at 9am. For more details or inquiries, please contact Kolo Afu at 562-507-8914.
