Fernando Tamma, 85, born on August 20, 1940, in Isabela, Philippines, passed away May 19, 2026. He resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.
Fernando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man who showed his love through sacrifice and dedication. He was strong-willed and disciplined, and spent his life doing what he believed was best for his family. Though his love was often shown in tough ways, it always came from a place of care and devotion.
Throughout his life, Fernando was hardworking and deeply dedicated to his family. In the Philippines, he worked for the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), where he began his career as an investigator and later advanced to become a branch manager. After immigrating to the United States, he continued his strong work ethic through his work at J.L. Cooper. His dedication to his work reflected the same commitment and sacrifices he made for his family.
He enjoyed life’s simple routines and the things that brought him comfort. He loved taking walks with the family dog, Nana, cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Lakers, and watching classic Western films and old movies, especially those filled with action and romance.
Fernando was also a man of deep faith. Every night, without fail, he prayed. His devotion to God remained an important part of his life and never wavered.
Fernando is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Elisa Tamma; his four sons, Bernard Tamma, Michael Tamma, Dan Tamma, and Fernando Tamma Jr.; his daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and extended family, who will forever cherish the love, sacrifices, and guidance he shared throughout his life.
