Ferdinand “Ferdie” G. Malinao, 62, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, was born on August 26, 1963, in Manila, Philippines, and peacefully passed away on July 30, 2026.

Ferdie will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends. He cherished spending time with those closest to him, whether it was enjoying a meal together, sharing stories, or simply relaxing while watching television. He had a special love for good food, especially Lechon Kawali and Korean barbecue, which never failed to bring a smile to his face.

A devoted basketball fan, Ferdie admired Kobe Bryant and proudly cheered for the Los Angeles Lakers throughout his life. His passion for the game was something he enjoyed sharing with family and friends.

Ferdie was a proud graduate of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Class of 1984, where he earned a degree in Marketing. He carried with him the friendships and experiences he made there throughout his life.

Above all, Ferdie will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Though he is no longer with us, his love and the countless memories he leaves behind will continue to inspire and comfort us. He will be deeply missed and forever
