Felisa E. Aglibot (known to her friends and family as “Fely,” was born to Esteban (father) and Alejandra Estavillo (mother) and raised in Estifona, Pura-Tarlac, Philippines, on June 30, 1950. Growing up, she lived in the town of Galvan, Nueva Ecija with her six other siblings and parents. Her early education began at Pura Elementary School, followed by high school at Pura Academy. She then she pursued higher education at Saint Louis University in Baguio, where she earned a Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing. She completed her nursing practical and internship in Dagupan City, Philippines. Her first nursing employment was at Difun Quirino, Philippines. She later relocated to the United States and worked at a local hospital in Joliet, Illinois, and subsequently then transferred to Los Angeles, CA to work at California Medical Center (now known as Dignity Health Medical Center) in Downtown Los Angeles. She spent the remainder of her nursing profession working in the labor and delivery department until her retirement in 1992.
Along with her husband Pabling Aglibot, she raised her two children, Gladys and Michael Ray, in Baldwin Park, CA. Predeceased: Esteban Estavillo (father), Alejandra Estavillo (mother), Virgilio Estavillo (Sr), Sixto EstavilloEstavilo (eldest brother), Edelio Estavillo, Rufino Aglibot (father-in-law), Elena Aglibot (mother-in-law), Litong Aglibot (brother-in-law), Victoria Estavillo (sister-in-law), Perla Aglibot (sister-in-law), Emmanuel Ventura Sr. (brother-in-law), Nathaniel Fernas (grandson), Lalaine Aglibot (niece), and Remedio Acoba-Jose (best friend).
Survived by the following: Pabling Aglibot (spouse), Gladys & John Fernas (daughter & son-in-law); Michael Ray and Jennifer Aglibot (son and daughter-in-law); Grandchildren: Sophia Fernas, Noah Aglibot, Mia Aglibot; Maria Magdelena Ventura (older sister), Peter Estavillo Sr. ( brother), Adoracion E. Navarro (youngest sister); May Hazelwood (sister-in-law); Nieces: Ginette Cruz, Lovelee Enriquez, Olivia Estavillo-Marlowe, Cherrylee Lumba, Girlie Garcia, Karen Mengmahal, Joceline Hu, Miriam Aglibot, Alily Aglibot, Luzviminda Porlucas, Varlen Navarro; Mary Jane Lucero, Mildred Aglibot, Sheryl Aglibot, Marilou Antonio-Aglibot; Nephews: Virgilio Estavillo Sr., Steve Estavillo, Rodelio Estavillo, Julius Ventura, Peter Estavillo Jr., Stephen Estavillo, Emmanuel Ventura Jr., Ray Navarro, Levis Navarro, Steven Val Navarro, Frederick Aglibot, Marvin Aglibot, Rommel Aglibot, Mack Aglibot, Adriel Aglibot, Thomas Hazelwood, Brandon Hazelwood, John Paul Callanta, Ariel Callanta, and Paul Anthony Callanta Jr.
Fely’s most remarkable achievement and legacy highlight her steadfast love and kindness towards family, friends, and strangers alike. As a devout Christian, she played a pivotal role in guiding her immediate family and the people close and not so close to her, and her extended relatives from Galvan, Nueva Ecija, to embrace Jesus Christ as their true lord and savior. Her life’s ultimate purpose was fulfilled through her dedicated discipleship and mentorship of new Christians and believers alike. Each year until her recent hospitalization in December 2025, she fervently and unceasingly prayed for the strength to continue ministering and sharing the uplifting message of salvation through Jesus Christ’s mercy and grace. In the end, Fely fought a valiant battle, maintained her unwavering faith regardless of her declining medical condition, and completed her final race with honor and dignity. Fely passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, surrounded by her immediate family and fellow sisters-in-Christ at her primary residence located in Baldwin Park, CA.
