Feliciano Naces Bautista, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines, Feliciano (Fil) was the beloved eldest of 4 siblings. From an early age, he was known for his quiet strength, generous heart, and love of family - qualities that stayed with him throughout his life.
Feliciano proudly served as a dental technician in the US Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1980. He then served for another 18 years with US Post Office. His dedication, work ethic, and integrity left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike. This was exemplified by the fact that he earned a special commendation from the US Post Office for never missing a day of work.
Fil will be remembered for his unofficial motto, “It’s still good!” as he rarely threw old things away and always found a way to repurpose them. He was skilled with his hands and had a knack for practical problem-solving. Often, he would “MacGyver” a solution with whatever resources he had on hand.
Fil was also an expert at the barbeque grill. Whether cooking hamburgers, steak, or ribs, everyone knew they were in for a great meal when “Uncle Fil” was on duty.
Beyond his career, he was a devoted husband to Gloria, beloved father to Caren and to Steve and to his wife Judi, and loving grandfather to Emily and Ashlyn. He took pride in his family and found joy in playing golf, traveling, and trying his luck at the casino.
Feliciano is survived by his spouse, children, grandchildren, and siblings – his sister, Juanita along with her spouse Dionisio and daughter Judianne; his brother Teofilo with his spouse Lolita; and his brother Juan with his spouse Yolanda and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucio and Marcela Bautista.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
