Evelyn Ann Foster

Evelyn Ann Foster, age 81, a long time resident of Yorba Linda, California, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2016, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was with her husband and loving family. Evelyn was born on the family farm, in Woodbine, Illinois, July 13, 1935, and was a graduate of Stockton, Illinois, High School, with additional colleges courses. She moved to Long Beach, California in 1955 where she met her husband Jack. They married September 3, 1955. She loved sewing, with many beautiful projects completed. As a member of the American Sewing Guild, she sewed chemo hats for those afflicted with cancer. Evelyn retired from Hughes Aircraft, after 15 years, where she was a Planning Supervisor. She was generous, kind, and adored by those who knew her. Evelyn is survived by her husband Jack Foster, son Walter, three daughters-Valerie Foster-Young, Linda Foster, and Carol Foster; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; sisters Carol (Brudi) Westaby, Beulah (Brudi) Klaus; brothers Armin Brudi, and George Brudi. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lois (Winter) Brudi; and grandson Joshua Stephenson. Visitation on December 12th at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, 5-7pm (family) and 7-9pm to all visitors. Funeral Services will be held on December 13, 11am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4101 E. Nohl Ranch Rd., Anaheim, California.
