Evelyn Catoera Asencion, 61, daughter given by the Lord to Ireneo and Pacencia Catoera, was born at Digos, Davao Del Sur, Philippines on December 8, 1950.Her smile and laugh captivated us all, but it is time to share Evelyn's greatness to heaven. Evelyn passed away June 27, 2012.

Today we rejoice in the knowledge that she has passed the barrier of time as we know it and is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served for nearly 62 years.
She was married to Expedito Asencion, for more than 34 years, they experienced the changing scenes of life in the joyous and fruitful companionship, which the Lord had entrusted to them. Surviving along with her husband Lito are three beautiful daughters: Aira, Annalyn and Angela.

The Bible teaches and shows us that no one is immune from suffering and sickness. Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 60, Evelyn experienced a sickness in life that seems impossible to overcome; But Evelyn manifested what God reminds her to do. God reminds that his strength is made perfect in our weakness. Evelyn surrendered her health to God with an open heart and seeks His direction in your prayers.

Her family takes this occasion to thank their relatives and many friends for the kindness which have been given during this time of sorrow and during the course of the years. Friends, brothers and sisters , are indeed the most meaningful gifts of life.
