Evangelina Vazquez Ortiz, age 82, born on April 16, 1941, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, entered into rest on Saturday, February 3, 2024. She resided in Menifee, California at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Manuel Ortiz. She is survived by her five children, Rosina Ortiz Padilla, Adriana Ortiz, Joseph Ortiz, Elizabeth Bernal and Carlos Ortiz. She was a proud Grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Sylvia, Edward, Robert, Eddie, Destiny, Lauren, Kerryana, Carlos Jr. (CJ), Emma and Sophia. Great-Grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren, Jiselle, Danielle, Anthony, Brielle, Baby Isabella and Baby Banta. She was a Mother-in-Law to Pedro, Lisa Marie, Felipe and Rosie. Evangelina Vazquez Ortiz will forever be remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and a giving friend. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
