Evan C McNeill

On September 10, 2002, at Glendale Adventist Hospital in Glendale, CA, Robert H and Daphne K McNeill III welcomed their firstborn, Evan Chase McNeill. Two years later, he became the protective big brother to his little sister, Erin Madison. 

With that twinkle in his eye and that infectious smile that later became his signature mark, Chase captured the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. From the very beginning, there was something magical about him - a warmth, a kindness, and a quiet demeanor that drew people to him.

His passion for sports, especially basketball, gave him the chance to build lifelong friendships and compete on several elite teams, where he celebrated numerous championships and trophy-winning seasons. 

After graduating from Upland High School, Chase attended Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. He later transferred to Grand Canyon University, where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he envisioned a future where he could combine his business knowledge and his passion for automobiles. His dream was to become certified in Automotive Technology and ultimately own a custom performance automotive business. He was eagerly preparing to begin that journey in November of this year.

On July 22, 2026, our beloved Chase's earthly journey ended unexpectedly when his heart suddenly stopped. Although his physical presence is gone, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched. His laughter, infectious smile, compassionate heart, and the love he so freely gave will forever remain etched in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

To cherish his precious memory, Chase leaves his loving father, Robert H McNeill, III; devoted mother, Daphne K Sanders-McNeill; loving sister, Erin Madison McNeill; maternal grandmother, Mattie Sanders of Los Angeles; paternal grandmother, Debra McNeill of Pasadena, CA; aunts, Erica McNeill of Pasadena, CA and Stacey McNeill of Los Angeles; uncle, Kevin Cash (Nicole) of Florida; godparents, Desi and Deidre Smith of Phoenix, AZ; and a host of family, friends, teammates, mentors, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
