Eustaquio Stokes Fronda

Eustaquio Stokes Fronda Jr. was born in Ft. Stotsenburg Pampanga, Philippines on June 21, 1932, the third eldest of five children. He is survived by his brother, Amado; three children, Jeannette, Jane, and Jerome; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, and Jay; six great-grandchildren, Corrine, Caitlin, Christine, Odin, Camille, and Amerie. Preceded in death by his siblings Theodora, Eugene, and Alfredo.
Our Papa was surrounded by his family, when he passed away peacefully on April 3, 2019, in Torrance, California.
He was baptized at Fort Stotsenburg Chapel. He graduated from Jose Abad Santos HS in Binondo, Manila, where he was the basketball team captain. Before arriving to the U.S. in 1966, he was a
Lieutenant at the Caloocan Police Department.
While in the U.S. he wore many hats and had the opportunity to travel as a civilian chef stationed in Diego Garcia. He was also a bartender and worked as a chef at a local Filipino restaurant in Hercules, CA.
Papa was always the life of the party and was known to be a great storyteller. Admired by many, he enjoyed being around his friends and family. Papa loved to travel, golf, go to the casino, cook for his family, and watch his favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors. Always looking at the positives in life, Papa always had a smile on his face. That beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be greatly missed by all.
