Eulalia Cuevo Pantaleon

February 12, 1930 — July 17, 2019

On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, Eulalia Pantaleon, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 89.

Eulalia, or Lila as she preferred, was born on February 12, 1930 in Jaen, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and worked as a pharmacist and businesswoman. She married Gavino Pantaleon and they raised three children: Priscilla, Glen, and Oliver. She immigrated to the United States, completing one of her lifelong dreams.

Lila lived her life to the fullest even until her last days, even walking to the park without assistance. She loved to dance, especially to "Achy Breaky Heart." Yellow was her favorite color and it matched perfectly to her high energy levels and bright smile. She would love to attend her monthly senior citizen parties and special events, especially to get her hair and nails done. She loved to look and feel fabulous with any opportunity should could. Lila would call her friends or get calls daily on her cellphone and watch any LA Lakers replays or live games. She loved her family and never let anybody forget how proud of them she was.

Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Gavino. She is survived by her three children, in addition to her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
