Ethel Harreus passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 91. Ethel was born on September 11, 1933 to John and Ethel Hannon of Staten Island, New York. In 1955, she married Charles Harreus, who she had met in grade school. Together they moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and raised two children. In 1997, Ethel and Charlie retired to Palm Desert. They were married for 67 years at the time of Charlie’s death in 2023. She is also preceded in death by her son, Mark. She is survived by her sister (Kathleen Reitz), her daughter and son-in-law (Betsy and Guy Dreier), and her granddaughter and her husband (Alix and Armani Fountain.)
