Erno Miklos Dancsecs

Erno, 75, was born on June 19, 1936 in Hungary and passed away on June 7, 2012. He was a resident of Burbank, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements were under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California. His final resting place is in the Court Of Freedom.

Erno was an avid cross-worder, gardener and sports fan. He was also quite the soccer player in his day, being drafted onto a professional Austrian Soccer Team before leaving Hungary for the United States in 1956. He also played on the 1961 U.S. Army International Soccer League Championship Team while serving at Fort Bliss.

Erno graduated from Los Angeles Community College and began his carreer in the Radiology Department of L.A. County/USC Medical Center, from where he retired after 26 years of service.

Ernie and his wife enjoyed traveling to Europe to visit friends and family, and they also enjoyed their annual "Super Bowl Trip" to Vegas.

Erno/ "Pop" is survived by, and sorely missed by his wife of 52 years, Olga; his son Walter; grandson, Walter; daughter Elizabeth; son-in-law, Richard Bruglia; and younger brother Steve Dancsecs.
