Ernest E. Babati

Ernest E. Babati, 84, born on January 18, 1935, in Lickovadamos, Hungary, passed away March 7, 2019. Ernest was born in a small rural town in Hungary the middle child of 5. In 1956 he immigrated to Seattle, WA in search of the American dream. Ernest achieve his dream; he educated himself and became an airline mechanic. In 1963 he married Magdalena and they had two children. After a successful career working as a mechanic for major airlines he retired in 1996 and relocated back to Garden Grove, CA which is where he remained until the time of his passing. Ernest was a great man of faith and was loved by many; particularly children and animals. In his retirement Ernest kept busy by remodeling or fixing things and enjoying his grandchildren. Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, his two devoted sons and his four wonderful grandchildren. Ernest will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA on April 5, 2019.
