Arzaga

In Loving Memory of
Erna Kruse Arzaga
March 2, 1929 – April 26, 2026
With profound love and gratitude for a life faithfully devoted to God and family, we celebrate the life of Erna Kruse Arzaga, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2026, at the age of 97.
Born on March 2, 1929, in Samar, Philippines, Erna lived a remarkable life rooted in unwavering faith, prayer, and service to Jesus Christ. A true child of God, she was known for boldly sharing the Gospel and for her steadfast commitment to serving the Lord in every season of life. Whether speaking to family, friends, or even strangers, Erna never missed an opportunity to speak about the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Erna’s love for worship was evident throughout her life. She was a gifted singer who faithfully served in the choir at Bethel Temple Manila, where she also conducted the choir for many years. Later, she continued her ministry through dedicated service at West Covina’s Assembly of God, where her joyful spirit, faithful heart, and love for worship continued to bless those around her.
Strong-willed, fiercely independent, and deeply devoted in prayer, Erna was truly a prayer warrior. Her prayers uplifted and strengthened countless lives, and her faith became a guiding light for her family and all who knew her. She lived with conviction, grace, resilience, and an unshakable trust in God.
Above all, Erna treasured her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Lerraine; her son-in-law, David; her daughter-in-law, Esther; and her beloved grandchildren: Dale and his wife, May; Ryan; Neal and his partner, Aracely; Janice and her husband, Chris; and Lorelei and her partner, Ben. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Emma, Averie, Tru, Joel, Luna, Alexia, and Isaac, along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Though her family mourns her passing, they rejoice in knowing that Erna is now at home with the Savior she faithfully served all her life. Her legacy of faith, prayer, worship, and unconditional love will continue to live on through the generations she so deeply impacted.
Erna will be remembered not only for the words she spoke, but for the life she lived — a life that pointed others to Christ.
