Enrique Leon

Enrique Leon, born on February 1, 1970, a devoted family man, passed away on November 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, and dedication. He served faithfully for over 25 years as an employee at both Palm Springs Unified and Desert Sands Unified School Districts. 

Enrique earned his Associates degree from the University of Riverside, supplemented by numerous certificates from the State for Irrigation. His dedication and personal growth was evident throughout his life. Known for his huge heart and down-to-earth personality, he had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel at ease, often sharing his great sense of humor and infectious laugh.

He was an adventurous spirit, loving to travel and create lasting memories with his family. Enrique cherished the time spent with his loved ones and took great pride in his role as a father.  He is survived by his mother, Consuelo Leon; his son, Enrique Leon Jr; his brothers, Ernesto and Samuel Leon; his stepdaughter, Devonni Sambrano; and his granddaughters, Nevaeh and Luvly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Leon.

A Funeral Service in Enrique's honor will be held on November 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Coachella Mortuary Chapel in Coachella, CA. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of this cherished man.
