Emma Alicia Sanchez, 76, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Pomona, California. She was born on October 4, 1949, in Guatemala. Later in life, she made her home in Pomona, California, where she lived for 48 years and built a life centered around family, love and cherished memories. 

Emma was known for her generosity and joyful spirit. She loved shopping and had a special gift for storytelling. Whether sharing memories from her youth, giving advice or just sitting with family and recounting stories that made everyone laugh, Emma had a way of bringing people together. Her voice, laughter, and the stories she shared will remain treasured by all who knew her. 

Above all else, Emma loved her family deeply and had a strong bond with her mother, sisters and two best friends. She is lovingly survived by her son, Jose and daughter Elisa. She was a proud grandmother to Brianna, Jayden and Julissa, and a loving great-grandmother to Isaiah, who brought her great joy. 

Emma's kindness, strength, and love will live on through the memories she leaves behind. Though her presence will be deeply missed, she is now reunited with her husband and daughter who have gone before her. The love she gave and the moments she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
