Services to honor Emily Lee's life will be held at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills in Covina, California. A visitation will take place on November 24 from 2:00 p.m. (NOT 9:00 a.m) to 6:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Room of the mortuary. This will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Emily. The funeral service will be held on November 25 at the Memory Chapel in the the mortuary. The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be a time for all who knew Emily to gather together, celebrate her life, and find solace in each other's company. Emily, a beloved teaching aide in the Walnut and West Covina school districts, passed away on November 2, 2023. Emily dedicated her career to helping others. In 1999, Emily earned her Associate of Arts in Childhood Development from Mount San Antonio Community College, demonstrating humility and a lifelong commitment to learning. Her passion for teaching and assisting students from diverse backgrounds made a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals. Throughout her years of service in the school districts, Emily's kindness, patience, and unwavering support created an environment where students felt valued and empowered.
Emily's love knew no bounds when it came to her family. She was a loving wife to Wing Tim Lee and a devoted mother to her children - Roland Lee, Sonya Han, and Lindsy Lee. As a mother, she prioritized their happiness, growth, and education. Her love for her family extended to her role as a grandmother, where she showered her grandchildren - Tristan, Brendan, Charlotte and Deanston - with boundless affection, wisdom, and cherished memories. Emily leaves an enduring impact on the hearts and lives of her children and grandchildren, as well as her students who have learned the importance of empathy and kindness from her remarkable example.
