With deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Emiliana Macaya, née Santos, who passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 86.

Born on January 5, 1940, in Pampanga, Philippines, Emiliana was the beloved daughter of the late Gaspar Santos and Rosalia Santos. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life.

Emiliana was a woman of remarkable strength, intelligence, and grace. She built a successful career in real estate, but her greatest life's work was caring for her family. Thoughtful, kind, loving, hardworking, and endlessly caring, she had a quiet strength that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.She found joy in spending treasured time with her grandchildren, gardening, swimming, and taking walks with dear friends. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

Emiliana is lovingly survived by her children, Rick Macaya and his wife, Jana, and Michelle French. She was a devoted grandmother to Marisa Macaya, Meghan Macaya, Matthew French, and Alison French as well as her sister, Lucia Nabong.She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Gaspar Santos and Rosalia Santos and siblings Emiliano Santos, Augustin Santos, David Santos, Federico Santos, Romana Santos, and her baby brother, John Santos.

A private funeral service celebrating Emiliana's life will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale. Emiliana's greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely. Her kindness, resilience, elegance, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
