Emilia Aracely Contreras

Our beloved Sheny, Age 67 of Santa Clarita California, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 24th 2018.

Emilia was born on June 6, 1950 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Hector Esteban Contreras (deceased) and Carmelina (Velasquez Ramirez) Contreras.

She is survived by her loving mother Carmelina Contreras; her beloved daughter Claudia Kirby; daughter-in-law Kim Kirby; granddaughter Emily Rose Kirby; sister Irma Leticia Palencia, brother Hector Manuel Contreras; sister-in-law Maria Contreras; nieces Agnes Villatoro, her husband Miguel Villatoro, Jennifer Contreras; nephews Aldo Palencia and Hector Esteban Contreras; her partner of over 15 years Marco Tulio Cante and a great number of wonderful friends and family.

The family will be celebrating the life of Emilia with a viewing on Sunday, February 4th @ Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale from Noon to 8PM with a service to be held on Monday, February 5th at the Church of the Recession from 2:30-3:30.
