Ema Lazo De Isas

Ema Lazo de Isas, age 66 of Long Beach Ca, passed away on Saturday, September 23 2017. She was born to the late Jesus Lazo and Norberta lazo on May 19, 1951 in the city of Tehuantepec, Estado de Michoacan, Mexico.

Ema was a loving wife and devoted mother to her six children and grandmother to five. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants, especially her night blooming flowers; she would spend hours crocheting and doing needle- point. Ema loved to help friends and family, and taught her children to be helpful in service to their community and others. She enjoyed attending church, and assisted new mothers with caring for their newborns. Some of her favorite past times were cooking, family dinners, try new recipes, canning, loved nature and seeing God's beauty in all living things.

Her sense of humor knew no bounds and her smile would light up a room. Ema would find ways to joke around and make you smile. She loved life, and the natural world held much wonder for her. The bees, flowers, butterflies, all brought her joy as she enjoyed most the simple things in life: a gentle breeze, the scent of a flower, colors of a sunset, or simple the fresh clean smell after it rained. She was a kind, generous person and will be greatly missed.
