Elva Valle Sosa

Elva Valle Sosa, 64, was born to the late Simon Valle and Francisca Yanez on February 11, 1956, in Sayula, Jalisco, Mexico, passed away January 27, 2021. She resided in Covina ,CA at the time of her passing.

Elva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her generosity and helpful spirit was felt by all those that came into her life. Elva was kind, caring and wise. She always knew just what to say to help a family member or friend in need of some encouraging words or motivation. She was her children's strongest advocate, cheerleader, and always encouraged them to do their best in everything they did. Elva was a devout Catholic and member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Irwindale, CA. She lived out her faith by being a true example of a faithful servant of God. Elva had many talents, one of which was her gift as an accomplished cook , which she frequently shared with her friends and family. A true admirer of plants and flowers, Elva kept a beautiful garden in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Aurelio Sosa; her daughters Claudia Sosa-Valderrama, Elba Sosa, Olga Sosa and Jasmin Sosa; her grandchildren Katherine Valderrama, Steven Valderrama, Isabel Sosa-Mancinas, Carissa Valderrama, Abigail Sosa-Estrella, Eloise Corigliano; great grandchildren Anais Valderrama and Angel Valderrama; her brothers Jesus Valle, Juan Valle, Ramon Valle; her sisters Teresa Valle, Maria Valle, Viviana Valle, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Forest Lawn Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde St., Covina, Ca. 91724 at the Church of our Heritage on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
