Elsie Marie Boyd, 89, born on November 25, 1922, in Topeka, Kansas, passed away September 14, 2012. She resided in Buena Park, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. She was married to George Boyd from October 19, 1942 until his death in October 2006. Proud Mom to two sons, Jimmie and Bobby . Grandmother to Becki, Michelle, Mike and Shawn. Great grandma to seven and great great grandma to 2. Elsie loved family, baseball and she never met a cat she could not love or let go hungry. She was generous, giving aide to others even if it meant she might go without. She will be missed but she lived a long, full life and has gone from us in physical form but her memory will live on in all the people she touched.
