Ella Graham Fassitt

Ella Affray Pendleton was born on September 20, 1930 in Turrell Arkansas to the parents of Viola and William Pendleton. Ella was raised in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduating from DuSable High School she moved to Los Angeles California. During the span of her lifetime she was baptized in 1946, married three times, and bore 5 children. She was a member of Saint Andrews Baptist Church and succeeded in entrepreneurship by owning one of the first African American female businesses in Los Angeles. She was also employed in the aerospace industry. In the mid 80s she moved to Pomona California where she attended First Baptist Church of Pomona(now Purpose Church). Ella transitioned March 2, 2022. She is survived by her brother Nathaniel Pendleton, sister Miriam Spencer, and brother Bishop Donnell Winston. Four children Randall Graham, Verna Rena Richmond, Vinton Graham, Vernon Graham and host of grands, great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Floyd Johnson Jr., brother Theodore Pendleton Sr., sister Minnie Pendleton, brother Chick and her parents.
