Elizabeth J. Kessler

Elizabeth J. Kessler, 77, of Palm Desert, Calif., passed away on August 29, 2013 in Palm Springs, Calif. She was born on March 8, 1936, to Herbert Benz and Jeanne Moisant in New York, N.Y. She was active in her church and numerous service organizations. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Susan, Geraldine, and Michael; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nephews; and two half brothers, Stan and Gene Wakefield. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. in the Ramon Chapel of Forest Lawn Cathedral City, Calif. The church service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, La Quinta, Calif. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Calif.
