In Loving Memory of Elizabeth de León
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth de León (née Terrazas), a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on January 25, 2024, at her home in San Marcos, CA.
Elizabeth was born in 1955 in San Luis del Cordero, Durango, Mexico and was one of 12 siblings. She spent most of her life in Southern California. Every day, Elizabeth exemplified values of compassion, resilience, and selflessness, touching the lives of those around her with unwavering love and dedication. A pillar of strength and the heart of her family, Elizabeth tirelessly worked to care for her children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was a source of strength during challenging times and a beacon of love during moments of celebration.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Leo, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She is also survived by her sons, Hector (Halie) and Eric (Maria), who were the center of her world. Elizabeth's legacy extends to her five grandchildren, whose laughter and joy brought immense happiness to her life.
In accordance with Elizabeth's wishes, she will be interred at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills, near her beloved daughter, Cynthia. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her adoring family. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Elizabeth de León (de soltera Terrazas), una devota esposa, madre, hermana, tía y amiga, quien dejó este mundo el 25 de enero de 2024, en su hogar en San Marcos, CA.
Elizabeth nació en San Luis del Cordero, Durango, México y era una de 12 hermanos. Pasó la mayor parte de su vida en el sur de California. Todos los días, Elizabeth ejemplificó valores de compasión, resistencia y desinterés, tocando las vidas de quienes la rodeaban con amor y dedicación inquebrantables. Pilar de fortaleza y corazón de su familia, Elizabeth trabajó incansablemente para cuidar de sus hijos, sobrinos, y nietos. Era una fuente de fortaleza en los momentos difíciles y un faro de amor en los momentos de celebración.
A Elizabeth le sobrevive su marido, Leo, con quien compartió toda una vida de amor y compañerismo. También le sobreviven sus hijos, Hector (Halie) y Eric (Maria), que eran el centro de su mundo. El legado de Elizabeth se extiende a sus cinco nietos, cuyas risas y alegría trajeron una inmensa felicidad a su vida.
En honor a los deseos de Elizabeth, será enterrada en Forest Lawn - Covina Hills, cerca de su querida hija, Cynthia. Su adorada familia la echará de menos y la recordará con cariño. Los arreglos están bajo el cuidado de Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
