Elizabeth Conant

Elizabeth Ann Conant, age 65, born on November 18, 1960 passed away January 22, 2026. Liz as we called her, was born to Mariann and Donald Conant in Arcadia California at Methodist Hospital.  Shortly after she was baptized at the Methodist Church in Glendora.  She was an incredible big sister. My first memories are of playing with her. With our loving parents we had a  very happy childhood. She was confirmed at First Presbyterian Church in El Monte. I will always remember how she took care of her very homesick sister at those church camps.  She always showed tremendous love and support for me throughout my life.  She did well academically receiving acknowledgement for her creative writing.  She was the valedictorian of Edgewood Intermediate School and then attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School.  From childhood she always wanted to help people.  She volunteered at Ambassador Convalescent Hospital in West Covina.  Caring for the geriatric patient would be a passion she continued through out her life. She attended Rio Hondo College in Whittier CA. Health issues would bring her challenges which she handled with courage. She was a loving and dedicated aunt to Christie and Matthew. Our family was blessed to live in close proximity and see each other often.  She loved getting together with family and friends.  She had a large doll collection. As health issues intensified she would attend dialysis. There she made many friendships and openly shared her Christian faith. After mom passed Liz and Dad carried on together.  Mom would have been so proud of them.   Liz touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. She did the best she could in whatever circumstance she faced. She loved everyone and appreciated everything.
