Eliseo leaves behind his cherished children—each carrying forward the lessons their father gave them: strength in adversity, kindness, humor.

Eliseo Antonio Moran Mendoza, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 60. His journey began on December 10, 1965, and over the years he became a source of warmth, love, and steadfast strength to all fortunate enough to know him.

Eliseo’s story was one centered on devotion—to his family, to his craft, and to the values he carried in his heart. As a dedicated Body Shop Specialist, he poured countless hours of skillful labor and pride into his work, imparting the values of focus, integrity, and perseverance. Yet, for Eliseo, the truest measure of his life’s accomplishments was witnessed in the moments he shared with those he adored.

He found immense joy in his role as a family man. His enduring marriage to Maria Moran was built on unwavering commitment, laughter, and the gentle partnership of many years. Together, they raised a family that would remain his greatest source of pride. Eliseo leaves behind his cherished children—Erick Mendoza, Enzo Mendoza, and Alexa Mendoza—each carrying forward the lessons their father gave them: strength in adversity, kindness, humor, and the importance of being there for one another. The birth of his grandson, Caleb Mendoza, brought a new light into his later years—a reminder that his legacy and love would continue for generations.

Family time was always at the center of Eliseo’s life. Fond memories abound—taking Erick and Enzo to football games and sharing the electric atmosphere, supporting Alexa as she danced in recitals, letting her know her dreams mattered to him as much as his own. There were snowy adventures in Big Bear, the magic of Disneyland with a tiny Caleb in tow, and countless early morning “cruising” escapades along Hollywood Blvd that became the stories his family would recount with laughter and affection for years to come. Eliseo’s heart was present in these small but significant traditions, weaving the everyday with meaning and togetherness.

His passions brought zest and color to his days. He was a steadfast fan of the Los Angeles Rams, always eager for game day, and enjoyed many spirited moments rooting for the Dodgers—interests that naturally became shared family experiences. Above all, he treasured simple pleasures: early mornings with his loved ones, leisurely drives, and the spirit of togetherness that defined his outlook on life.

Those closest to Eliseo would lovingly describe him as a man of warmth, humor, and unwavering love—stern when he needed to be, yet always caring, always seeking the best for everyone. He listened, understood, guided, and protected. His journey of sobriety, maintained faithfully for over 25 years for his wife and family, spoke volumes about his determination and capacity for love and personal transformation. Milestones large and small—the pride of seeing Erick graduate from college, the joy of supporting Alexa as she pursued nursing, and the simple bliss of being present for each new chapter—were celebrated by Eliseo with humility and gratitude.

To his family and friends, his presence was a gift. And though his absence will be deeply felt, the legacy of his love, his jokes, his encouragement, and his embrace endures.
