It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eliseo Arroyo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Eliseo departed us on April 5, 2024, in his home city of La Quinta, CA, leaving a void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on September 24, 1940, in Peribán, MICH, Mexico to Celia Frando and Antonio Arroyo. Throughout his life journey, Eliseo demonstrated qualities of strength, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his family. He was a true patriarch who always put his loved ones first.
A man deeply cherished by all who knew him, Eliseo leaves behind an enduring legacy carried on by his surviving family members: Frances Arroyo (wife), Rosa Hernandez (daughter), Elisa Aguirre (daughter), Delia Alvarez (daughter), Jesus Hernandez (son-in-law), Jaime Aguirre (son-in-law), Jesse Alvarez (son-in-law), Jesse Arroyo (brother), Celia Bazan (sister), Carlos Frando (brother), Ciriaco Frando Jr. (brother), 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Eliseo is reunited in peace with Celia Frando (mother), Antonio Arroyo (father), Antonio Arroyo Jr. (brother), Alicia Franco (sister), and Rosa Mireles (sister).
A Memorial Service to celebrate Eliseo's life will be held on May 17th at St. Francis of Assisi in La Quinta at 10 am, followed by burial at Coachella Valley Cemetery at 11:15 am. A reception will follow after at 12:30 pm at Indio Elks Lodge. In honoring Eliseo's memory let us also remember the lessons he imparted on us all- love unconditionally, cherish moments with loved ones, and always strive to be the best version of ourselves.
Eliseo Arroyo may have bid farewell to this world but he will forever remain alive in our hearts through the memories we hold dearly. Rest in peace dearest man we all love; your spirit will continue to guide us all.
