Familia Mendoza.

ENGLISH

Our dear father Elias Mendoza Ramirez, 82, was born August 12, 1941, in Ranchito, Tepatitlán, JAL, Mexico, and passed away May 09, 2024 at his home in the city of Carson. He was the beloved father of four sons and two daughters and is survived by his beloved wife Beatriz and his children Maria Elena, Jose, Leopoldo, Elias, Araceli, and Alejandro. He came to the United States to seek a better life for his family at the tender age of nineteen. He came to work at Las Lomas, a plant nursery located in the Domínguez area. The job he worked for the most years was at Virco, where he was an assembler, and where he retired. He always looked for ways to improve his life and was an extraordinary salesman. He sold cassettes, socks, cigarettes, jackets, and rented chairs and tables. At the age of 27 he married his wife Beatriz in their town of Mezcala de los Romero, Jalisco in the Church of San Bartolomé and his marriage lasted for 55 years. They had their first daughter, Maria Elena, one year and 14 days after they were married. Thank God, 5 more healthy children were born to them, culminating with Alejandro, the last. His favorite thing he liked to say was that his children would never suffer from hunger, and he did everything he could to keep that promise. We thank God for the life that our father gave us and the opportunities we had because he had the strength to come to a new country. Thank you Dad for everything you gave us and for all the love you gave us. Our Father will be buried at Forest Lawn in Long Beach. We humbly thank everyone who has supported us during this very difficult time.  Mendoza Family.
