Elena G. Parral

Elena Parral died peacefully in her sleep at 11:05 on Sunday March 27, 2022. She was born September 13, 1919 in Torreon Coahuila Mexico to Herminia Castañeda and Miguel Gomez. She leaves behind her sons Raul Solis (Theresa Solis), Antonio Solis Gomez (Margarita Guerrero), Jesus Parral (Patty Parral), Robert Parral (Mary Parral), her daughter Maria Miller (Dennis Miller). 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Miguel Parral.

Elena will be remembered as a woman of integrity and compassion and as a mother who made her children her highest priority. She was a woman who always worked to help support her family, retiring from the Sheraton Town House where she rose from the position of Housekeeping Maid to the supervising switchboard operator where she was befriended by many of the celebrity guests because of her charm and acute common sense.

Her daughter and sons will keep her alive in their hearts with so many fond, beautiful and unforgettable memories that she brought to not only them and her siblings, but to the rest of her family and others during her lifetime. Joseph Kennedy once said that 'the measure of a man's success in life is not the money he has made, it's the kind of family he has raised', that being the case, Elena was a wealthy woman!!
