Eleanor Irene Soulam, of LaVerne, CA, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on December 27, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late Isaac Soulam.

Devoted mother of Peter Cardinale and his wife, Patricia, and Denise Soulam Banks.

Dear sister of the late Louis Giacchetti and his surviving wife, Donna, and the late Vincent Giacchetti and his surviving wife, Sue.

Cherished grandmother of Megan and Kellsie.

Loving great-grandmother of Vincent, Gianni, Brody, Alessandra, and Brock.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her nephew, Joe, and niece, Rosalind. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Louis, Linda, Jennifer, Albert, and Lisa and their spouses and many great nieces and nephews.

Eleanor had many fond memories of growing up in East Boston. After moving to California, she began her career as a bookkeeper working for Hughes Aircraft and retired in that field with the Claremont Colleges.

She enjoyed working in her cherished garden, traveling, having lunch with her girlfriends, and daily neighborhood walks with her beloved dog, Benjie.

Family and friends will honor Eleanor's life on January 7, 2022, at Forest Lawn in Covina, California. May she rest in peace.
