Elaine Marie Willis Cobo

On January 18, 2021, Elaine Marie Willis Cobo, mother of five and grandmother of two, passed away at the age of 44. Elaine was born on October 7, 1976 in Orange, California. She attended school in Cypress and Anaheim and resided in Orange County for her whole life. For over ten years, she worked as an admit worker at UCI Medical Center-the same hospital in which she was born.
Elaine thoroughly loved all shades of purple. She also loved to laugh and had a fun sense of humor. From her childhood she enjoyed many summer trips camping with her family at Lake Tahoe. She continued that tradition when she had children of her own. She enjoyed changing her hair color, having her nails done, and bedazzling different pictures. She enjoyed spending time at the park with her daughter's family and watching and playing with her grandsons. She also enjoyed watching her four sons competing in cross country meets or participating in different events at track meets.
Elaine cared deeply for others, as evidenced by her commitment years ago to become an organ donor. She was able to fulfill that wish and was able to donate multiple organs upon her passing. Elaine will be missed by her family and friends.
Elaine is survived by her mother, Tyra Willis; her five children, Amy, Christian, Elijah, Aiden, and Mason; her siblings Ryan, Kevin, Anastasia and Annalisa; and her grandsons Daniel and Elias. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Forest Lawn-Cypress Cemetery on 4471 Lincoln Avenue.
