Elaine H. Klock

Elaine H. Klock, 89, born on August 27, 1928, in Pasadena, California, passed away September 21, 2017. She resided in Altadena, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Franklin G. Klock Jr. She is survived by her brother James Havlik (Margaret) and her children, Becky Sales (Thom), Lowell (Andrea), and Loren (Tracy). She was the proud "Nana" of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to her family, her church, and the Republican Party. Elaine enjoyed a great deal of traveling when Frank was alive, and enjoyed family trips and cruises with the children and grandchildren. She loved to plan parties and events, play bridge, read, and tend her rose garden. Elaine was a well- respected leader, mentor, and friend, a hard worker, a good listener, and a great mom.

Elaine was a force in Republican politics in LA County. She was a longtime leader in the Republican Women Federated and heavily involved with the Pasadena Republican Club. Every election cycle Elaine would run the Pasadena Republican headquarters. She enjoyed working with the volunteers during election season.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday Oct. 8, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 500 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91101 in the main sanctuary.
