Efren Sadora Carino

Efren Sadora Carino, age 71, passed away peacefully July 19,2020 in Los Alamitos Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1949 in Olongapo City, Philippines to Emilio and Pacita Cariño. Married Marilyn Edejer Carino November 13, 1983. He resided in Norwalk, CA at the time of his passing.


Loving father of Patrick and Kevin

Brother of Priscilla Fluata, Arsenia Cariño, the late Artemio Cariño, and the late Arnel Cariño. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He graduated from Jackson National HS (now known as Olongapo City National High School) in 1966. He would later on enlist in the U.S. Navy in 1968 and serve for 20 years. He retired from the Navy in 1988 as an Electronic Warfare Chief. After his service, he went on to work for companies like TRW, RainBird, Xerox, and the United States Postal Service. He officially retired in 2011.

Efren has a A.A. Degree in Communications Technology and certifications in the following: Bio-medical Instrumentation and Communications Technology

Efren was an avid neophile, always trying new things. He took courses to become a licensed pilot. Loved to build things, woodwork or electronics. Loved playing the guitar. Recently got into photography. What he liked to do though was go to the casino and play video poker.

He will missed dearly by his family and friends.
