Edwin T. Ormeo

October 14, 1944 — April 30, 2017

Pastor Edwin T. Ormeo, 72, was born in the Philippines on October 14, 1944 to Rev. Antonio Ormeo and his wife, Daylinda T. Ormeo. He was the eldest of the seven children and the patriarch of the family after the passing of his father in 2005. Pastor Ed reunited with his Savior on April 30, 2017, surrounded by his family, his church, and many others who had been blessed by his ministry. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Daybelen, his five kids: Elaine, Edwin Jr., Lyn, Junefaith, and Jan Michael, as well as his ten grandchildren. Pastor Ed was a pillar in his community; a man of faith, of compassion, and of truth. He tirelessly served the church and worked to share the good news of Christ's sacrifice with everyone he met. He dedicated his life to serving God and His people and shepherded a number of churches in both the Philippines and in the US. His legacy is truly a testament of God's goodness and faithfulness to those who love Him. Pastor Ed's passing is blow to not only his family, but to the countless people God reached through his life. But the hope of the Gospel continues to ring true and God is still using the memory of Pastor Ed to further His kingdom. Pastor Ed's life verse is Philippians 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." His family hopes that God's work will continue in the lives of those He touched through Pastor Ed. All glory be to God.
