Edwin Cornelia Sr.

Edwin Cornelia Sr., 74, born on January 12, 1951, in Manila, Philippines, passed away February 21, 2025. He resided in Norwalk, CA at the time of his passing.

Edwin’s time on earth was one in which made impact in many people’s lives. He was full of love and compassion towards family, friends and animals. He sought out every possible way to make life as positive as can be with family and friends. We ask that Edwin be remembered as a man who truly loved life.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Marie, his daughter Djohanna, son Edwin Jr., brother Eduardo, sister Nina R., sister Edith, grandchildren Hailey and Ken, son-in-law Kenneth and daughter-in-law Tess.

Edwin was Bachelor of Science in Biology Graduate from Adamson University Philippines and Licensed Vocational Nurse from ROP USA. Not only was Edwin a family-oriented man, he also truly cared for his patients. He loved working as a nurse. He showed compassion even to the most troublesome patients and helped many achieve their goals in life.

1. Edwin loved music, playing tennis, shooting at the shooting range, driving, latest high-tech electronics, cars, pets, movies, basketball and baseball.

3. Those who remember Edwin will remember his positivity either through his infinite amount of jokes, his skillful ways of turning the tides of negativity to positivity through his optimistic charm and through his infectious smile.

5. Although Edwin is no longer with us physically, his spirit will always be with us. Let his memory be one in which will inspire us to continue living life with positivity and love.
