Edgar Villarosa

Edgar Villarosa, born on December 17, 1944, in Mansalay, a province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, with his wife, Estelita, by his side. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose remarkable life was characterized by unwavering enthusiasm and a deep commitment to family and profession.

For over 36 years, Edgar dedicated himself to his career as a Clinical Scientist at Kaiser Permanente, exemplifying hard work and resilience in all that he undertook. His professional journey was a testament to his discipline and devotion, ultimately paving the way for a well-respected place in his field. Edgar's accomplishments were matched only by his spirited approach to life, filled with adventure, laughter, and cherished memories.

Edgar's passions were as vibrant as his personality. He found joy in fishing, reading, and dancing, various activities which allowed him to connect deeply with the world around him. Most importantly, he delighted in spending quality time with his family and friends, embracing each moment with a generous heart. His zest for life inspired those around him, and his unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Edgar is survived by his loving wife, Estelita; children, Galvin, Myra, and Jenny; and 5 grandchildren: Jelissa, Jazmine, Valerie, Matthew & Drake. The love he shared with them and the values he instilled will continue to resonate in their lives, ensuring his legacy endures.

A visitation for Edgar Villarosa will be held on February 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills, located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068. There will also be a funeral mass on February 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Burbank, located at 143 N. 5th Street Burbank 91501. Followed by a motorcade funeral/funeral procession back to Forest Lawn- Hollywood Hills for the burial services near the “Old North Church”.

As we celebrate the life of Edgar Villarosa, we remember a vibrant soul who embraced life fully and a man whose love for his family will forever be cherished. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
