Draupati Narayan

After a life filled with many happy memories, Draupati Narayan died peacefully in her home in Glendale, California at the age of 74.

Draupati Narayan was born in the Fiji Islands to her mother Ram Sati and father Ram Nath. She grew up with a large family of 7 other sisters and 1 brother. In Fiji, she excelled in the cooking business and loved spending time with her kids.

Draupati married her husband, Shiu Narayan and together raised 3 daughters. In 1981, she and her family immigrated to the United States and continued to work hard, even starting her own Daycare business.

Draupati remained a work driven woman throughout her life and never ceased to strive. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even through her final months.

Draupati is survived by her 3 daughters, Lata, Kiran, Soni, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

She was a woman who tried to help as many people as she could and touched so many lives. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
