Dorothy Helle Post, 89, born on December 21, 1934, in Yonkers, NY to Sigurd and Josephine Helle, passed away January 04, 2024. Beloved sister to Robert and William Helle. After college, Dorothy married James K. Sweeney. She was the proud mother of Elizabeth Kaplan, Kathleen Sweeney, James Michael Sweeney (Patti) and Dorothy Ann Fenady (Duke). She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and a friend to so many. Dorothy had many creative talents from painting to playing the piano, cooking, quilting, gardening, dollhouse making, miniature collecting and more. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her and she will forever be in our hearts.

A private interment will be held and in lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St. Jude's Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
