Doris E. Noble

Tavernier, FL:  Doris E. (Lynn) Noble, 78, died October 10, 2012 in Newton, NH.  Born in Malden, MA and raised in Newton, NH, she was the daughter of the late Edward N. and Marie R. (Belanger) Lynn.

In her early years, she worked as a caregiver for local nursing homes and at Eastern Canvas.  When her children were young she was a scout leader for a local boy scout troop.  She moved to the Florida Keys in 1976 and worked at Gilberts - Hotel and the Islander Hotel until her retirement.   Her summers were spent with her family in Newton, NH.

Mrs. Noble enjoyed camping, horses, boating, fishing, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by a son, William "Doug"' Noble of Newton, NH; a brother, Albert L. Lynn of Newton, NH and several nieces,nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by a son, Eric L. Noble and a brother, Edward N. Lynn.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 7:45 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Plaistow Village), Plaistow, NH.  A celebration of life will follow at 7:45 in the funeral home.
