Doris Jean Machdanz, 87, born on January 6, 1925, in Arkansas, passed away October 24, 2012. She resided in Fountain Valley, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
Doris was a most loving and self-less person. Everyone who every knew her realized that she was special. She was devoted to her mother, brother, and family.
She was always cheerful and pleasant. There were events in her life that were troublesome, but she always maintained a positive and loving attitude toward all people and animals. She loved cats, and had a cat named "Baby" which she adored.
Doris loved to care for her appearance so she could please others. She loved shopping at Norstrom and loved cadillacs. She loved different cosmetics and loved to have her hair and nails done in a lovely fashion. During her working years, she worked very hard at her job at Rainbird Corporation. She retired from there after many years of assiduous work.
Men were attracted to Doris because of her lovely appearance and wonderful personality. She was married three times and loved each man most graciously.
We will miss Doris. She was of the "old school" where women were lovely, had an enduring loving personality and carried a great sense of humor, and respected and loved all animals of every type. She embodied the traits of a true Christian lady.
We will miss Doris. She was unique and a gift to all her knew her.
