Atkinson, NH: Doris M. (Comeau) Bishop, 91, a resident of East Road, Atkinson since 1945 and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Bedford Hills Nursing Home, Bedford, NH.

Born in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Rita (Thimot) Comeau and attended Haverhill schools, graduating from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1940. She worked as a Home Healthcare Aide and also owned and operated a dairy farm with her late husband.

A member of Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Mrs. Bishop was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed sewing and being a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed summers at her camp on Province Lake and her summer porch at home. She most enjoyed all of the special times she shared with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter.

The widow of Frederick F. Bishop, Sr. who died in 2004, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel A., Sr. and Dianne Bishop of East Wakefield, MA, Terry M. and Cathy Bishop of Plaistow and Bruce R. "Randy" Bishop of Atkinson; a daughter, Roxanne Feuer of Atkinson; her dear friend, Robert Ray of Atkinson; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was the mother of the late Frederick F. Bishop, Jr. who died in 2002.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, June 24, 2013, from 5 to 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow Village, Plaistow, NH. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
