Doran Louis Sharff

Riding off into the sunset...

Doran Louis Sharff, 71, of Agua Dulce, CA passed away on
February 2, 2015.  He was born and raised in Burbank,
the only son of Louis and Helen (Seibold) Sharff.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Hilda
(Horvat); daughters Helen Craig and Carrie Warner; son
Dennis and his wife Marina; son Christopher; and
granddaughters Sarah Craig, Ashley Warner and Amanda
Warner.

Doran was the business owner of CWB Machine Works and MAKCO
in Los Angeles for over 50 years. He was a true cowboy, avid
hunter, expert shooter, chef and outdoorsman.  Doran
was a life-time member of the NRA; member of the Burbank
Pistol Club; Instructor for the Burbank Junior Rifle Club;
member of Coral 22 horseback riding club; an active member
and volunteer at two gun clubs -Americana 1800 Adventure
Club and Lopez Canyon Shooting Range; and donated his time
to multiple causes, including the Flying Doctors, Doctors
without Borders, and Vision Health International in El
Fuerte, Mexico.  His love for horses, guns, family and
friends was inexhaustible.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
February 21, 2015 at Forest Lawn Glendale - Church of the
Recessional. The family invites you to join us for a life celebration luncheon at Oakmont Country Club 3100 Country Club Dr, Glendale, CA 91208
