Donna "Oshana" M. Himot

Donna "Oshana" M. Himot, long time resident of California and Arizona, passed away peacefully on September, 26, 2024 in 29 Palms, California at the age of 73. She was a speaker, author, mentor and consultant to many individuals and businesses throughout the country. She treasured the time spent with her clients, many of whom she considered her dear friends. 

She is survived by her mother, Helene Himot, brother, Craig Himot, cousin Paul Margolis and extended family from California, Chicago and Arizona. 

Donna "Oshana" was born on November, 2nd, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA. During her High School years at Hamilton High, she began a lifelong love of playing the clarinet. She received a scholarship from the Peter Meremblum California Junior Symphony, who she performed with at annual holiday shows. She loved and played music with friends and family throughout her life. 

 Donna "Oshana" earned two Master of Business Administration degrees in Corporate Finance and in arts administration (nonprofit management), and credits towards a PhD in Learning and Change in Human Systems from California Institute of Integral Studies.

Donna "Oshana" used her business education and personal spiritual development, to assist her clients in “developing new knowledge and skills - for creating joy and wellbeing in our lives and in society.” 

People who knew Donna Oshana will feel the impact of her death, but most importantly, the impact of her life. She was engaging, empathetic and had a loving heart. She had a way of connecting with people and a genuine caring about the world we shared. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues. 

She will be interred at Desert Memorial Park Cemetery, Cathedral City, CA.
