Domiciano Santos

Domiciano (Dom) is survived by his loving wife, Edith; their children, Elaine, Jerry (Aarti), and Caroline. He was also blessed with two grandchildren, Maya and Eva (Jerry & Aarti); and 12 younger siblings, Aurelia, Benedicta, Eduardo, Ernesto, Domingo Jr, Gloria, Alberto, Rogelio, Benjamin, Ramon, Zenaida, and Marilyn.



Dom was born in San Juan, La Union, Philippines on December 28, 1939. He proudly earned his medical degree at Manila Central University. After immigrating to the US, he completed his residency in psychiatry. He happily spent his career at Maricopa County Hospital and ended his career with Professor Emeritus Status and numerous education awards. Dom loved being a doctor. He was an avid Arizona sports fan. He loved watching the Cardinals, Suns and the Diamondbacks play and was so excited to watch the Diamondback's win the World Series in 2001. Domiciano will be remembered as a tireless physician and colleague, fantastic teacher, kind friend, generous patriarch to the Santos family, adoring grandfather, immensely supportive dad, and loving husband.



A memorial service mass for Domiciano will be at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on February 11, 2023. It will be immediately followed by graveside burial ceremony Covina Hills-Forest Lawn. On February 10, 2023 from 5-9:00 pm there will be a rosary and viewing at Forest Lawn-Covina Hills.
