Dolores Rivers Saracho

Dolores Rivers Saracho, 82 of Santa Clarita, California was born on February 20, 1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away on September 20, 2014. She is survived by her four children, Rosemarie Gottshall and Desiree Cohen of Valencia, California; Loretta Vargas of Three Bridges, New Jersey and Raul Palmera of Huntington Beach, California; 6 grandchildren and sister Loretta Carlos of Hawaii.

Dolores lived in Honolulu with her father and two sisters until the age of 16. At that time, her and her father moved to the Philippines. There, she connected with more of her family, and eventually, started her own.

Dolores loved to knit, crochet, play cards, and mahjong. She enjoyed showing her love to her family through her cooking. But what brought her most happiness was spending time with her family, most especially her grandchildren.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, 9/24 and Thursday, 9/25 from 5-9PM in Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills at Faith Chapel. Mass service @ 3pm on Friday, 9/26 at St. Finbar Parish located at 2010 W. Olive Avenue, Burbank, CA 91506. Funeral service to follow at Forest Lawn. For more information, click on the "Services" tab above.
