Dolores "Lola" Cerros Murillo passed away in Indio, California, on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the age of 94. Lola was born on August 31, 1923, in Walsenburg, Colorado, to her parents Nick and Anastasia Cerros.

Mrs. Murillo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed going to the senior center to visit with her friends, going to the casino, and listening to music. She also loved her fashion jewelry and getting her nails done in her favorite colors red or pink. Above all, she loved seeing all her grandchildren. Every morning she would drink her coffee and say a daily blessing for all of her grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Lola will be forever remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosario and Crestino Loredo of Indio, California. Also fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren, Norma, Chris, Monica, Jaime, Maria, Rick, and Arturo. Her great grandchildren, Angelina, Angel, Anthony, Jazzlyn, Austin, Matthew, Breanna, Lena, Ruben, Raymond, Aj, and Alieya. Her Great-great grandchildren Zalaya and Ashton, and by her half brother Jesus. Lola was predeceased by her husband Eusebio Murillo, her daughter Aurora, her granddaughter Sarah, and brother Felipe.

If you plan on attending the upcoming funeral services, Lola requested that no one wears black. She wanted this to be a colorful celebration of her life.
