Dolores Vargas Centeno

Mrs. Dolores Vargas Centeno passed away at home in Sunland, California with her loving family and caregivers at her side. Dolores was born on February 2, 1930, in Mexico City, Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1954.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and loving grandmother who loved and inspired her children and their spouses Lourdes (Bill), Francisco (Jinny) and Raul (Carol). She also leaves three grandchildren, Christina, Alaina and Alex, along with many nieces and nephews, her three siblings, Magdalena,Tony, and Raul in the United States and Mexico.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Raul L. Centeno, of 60 years, and her parents, Antonio and Teresa, and four siblings, Maria, Carmen, Federico and Felipe.

Her family welcomes all relatives and friends to celebrate her life on Friday, October 12th at 1:30 p.m. at the Wee Kirk o' the Heather Church at Forest Lawn in Glendale.
